SF Student Affairs Symposium is Sept. 22

September 5, 2023 – Santa Fe College’s annual Student Affairs Symposium will be held Friday, September 22, at 1 p.m. in the Lyceum. This year’s symposium will begin with keynote speaker Tim Klein, LCSW. Tim is an award-winning urban educator, clinical therapist, and school counselor who has spent the last decade working intensively with marginalized and underserved students to empower them to pursue meaningful and fulfilling lives. In addition to serving as the Chief Impact Officer at Project Wayfinder, Tim is a former Teaching Fellow at Harvard University and the current Project Lead of True North, a purpose program at Boston College. Tim is also co-author of “How to Navigate Life: The New Science of Finding Your Way in School, Career, and Beyond” and in his keynote address he will help us tap into the science of purpose and belonging to help students with motivation and confidence. 

Following Tim’s presentation, the Student Affairs Awards for 2022-2023 will be presented. SF faculty and staff are invited to attend.
