Student Life observes Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15 to celebrate the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.

Kick-Off Event: 9/19 11 a.m. -2 p.m. Oak Grove Food, freebies (glass mugs, candy, & coffee handouts), community organizations, student clubs and departments tables, games, sculpting, soccer, dance lessons (1 p.m.), sculpting lessons (1 p.m.), & zoo presentation / animal encounter (12:30 p.m.).
Lunch and Learn 9/27 11 a.m. -2 p.m. R-01 Take a break from class and join us for a Lunch and Learn with the Zoo. There will also be dance classes.
Pajama Jam 9/28 4 p.m. Y-224 Book excerpt readings and giveaway items.
Round Table Discussion 10/5 1 p.m. Y-102 Semi guided discussion for students to share their experiences as being multicultural, international, and/or bilingual.
