September 20, 2023 – Santa Fe College will hold its 21st annual Community Forum for the East Gainesville Initiative (EGI) Thursday, Oct. 5 at 6 p.m. at SF’s Blount Hall in downtown Gainesville.

Since 2002, EGI has served the area by offering educational outreach. The annual forum not only promotes training and empowerment opportunities, but allows the local community to provide valuable feedback used to drive future efforts.

This year’s forum highlights academic programs, student services and new initiatives at the college. SF President Paul Broadie II, Ph.D. will deliver opening remarks, highlighting the many opportunities for students.

Following the president’s address, attendees will hear about Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs at the college, African American enrollment initiatives, SF Achieve, Entrepreneurship and more, including TimelyCare, a new virtual health and wellbeing resource for students.
