October 28, 2023 – The Limón Dance Company’s visit and the SFPD Drug Take Back Day event were a few notable Santa Fe College happenings over the past few days. Here’s some SF news you might have missed:
- The Limón Dance Company visited the Northwest Campus. The modern dance vanguards taught and performed a sold-out show as part of the college’s Master Artist series.
- The SFPD Drug Take Back Day event began Oct. 26. Bring unused or unwanted prescription drugs to the drop box in the SFID lobby until Sunday, Oct. 29.
- Santa Fe College Food Truck Days began Oct. 25. Food trucks will be on the Northwest Campus on specific days through the fall term.
- The Santa Fe Saints wrapped up the 2023 regular volleyball season. Santa Fe College Athletics look toward the upcoming men’s and women’s basketball seasons, which begin Nov. 2 and 3.
- Oak Hammock residents solved a mystery at SF’s Perry Center for Emerging Technologies. Dr. Alejandra Maruniak and her team invited Oak Hammock residents to a staged crime scene where they learned some of the methods used in crime scene investigations.
