November 9, 2023 – This year’s AFC (Association of Florida Colleges) 74th Annual Meeting and Conference ended with Santa Fe College (SF) and several faculty members earning prestigious accolades:
- Our AFC Chapter was given the title of “2023 Gold Chapter,” which according to Steve Grosteffon, President of AFC at SF, is “a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence and our impactful contributions to the broader AFC community.”
- Our chapter was also honored with the first-place award in the AFC Membership Challenge, which recognizes excellence in creating an engaging community for members.
- Two Professor of the Year nominees, Manisha Ranade and Corey Moran, were presented with the 2023 Distinguished Professor Awards for their exceptional dedication to education.
- John Spence, an SF graduate, was nominated for the 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award and honored with a Distinguished Alum Award for their service and contributions to our institution and the broader educational landscape.
“These accomplishments,” Grosteffon said, “are a testament to our members’ individual and collective excellence and reflect the high standards we hold ourselves to at Santa Fe College.”
