November 20, 2023 – After their Nov. 16 loss against the Florida Gateway College Timberwolves, the Santa Fe Saints Men’s Basketball team hoped to pick up the pieces and regain their momentum. They had to dig deep Saturday to overcome the Palm Beach State College Panthers.
Things were not looking good for the Saints at halftime. The Panthers dominated with a 45-29 score.
The second half told another story with the Saints demonstrating their determination and scoring prowess. The Saints both outscored the Panthers and proved defensively dominant, earning the 77-72 victory.
“This was a really good win for us and I’m really proud of our guys’ effort,” Saints Head Coach Chris Mowry said.
The 5-1 Saints host the South Georgia State College Hawks this Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.
