November 29, 2023 – The SF Saints Men’s Basketball team went into yesterday’s game against Florida State College of Jacksonville Blue Wave determined to reignite their momentum. They had quite a battle waiting for them.
From the start, the Blue Wave’s offensive attack threw the Saints’ formidable defense off balance. Things picked up for the Saints in the second half, but the Blue Wave were not to be denied the 76-46 victory. While the Blue Wave enjoy their 7-0 record, the Saints fall to 5-4.
“They outplayed and outcoached us for 40 minutes,” Saints Head Coach Chris Mowry said with an eye on the future. “We have a tough game coming up Saturday against Pensacola State College. We’ll be back in the gym tomorrow to work and get better.”
The Saints host the Pensacola State College Pirates this Saturday, Dec. 2 at noon.
