December 8, 2023 – Santa Fe College is pleased to offer Mental Health First Aid training on Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Building S, Rooms 29/30. Lunch will be provided.
This training helps participants understand how to help students, visitors or staff members who may be experiencing a mental health-related crisis or problem on campus. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, psychosis and addictions.
As we focus on continuous improvement, service excellence and campus safety in an environment where many people are experiencing mental health issues or problems, this course helps to equip staff with the tools needed to safely intervene and make appropriate referrals.
