December 16, 2023 – The Saints closed out 2023 with a bang last Saturday. They faced the Florida State College of Jacksonville BlueWave, a team that dominated the Saints in their last encounter.
Not wanting a repeat of that dizzying defeat, the Saints fought tooth and nail every second. The see-saw battle entered the first overtime period with neither team letting up. In the end, the Saints outlasted the BlueWave, winning 82-79.
“Exciting win for the Saints today!” Saints Head Coach Chris Mowry said. “I’m really proud of our team for finding a way to come out on top!”
The 7-6 Saints return next year to host Central Georgia Technical College on Jan. 4 at 4 p.m.
