Congress passed the King Holiday and Service Act in 1994, transforming Martin Luther King Jr. Day into a day dedicated to volunteer service in honor of Dr. King’s legacy. This year, CES is partnering with SF’s Little School to carry out a beautification project from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, January 15. The Little School provides a safe, enriching, stimulating and loving learning environment for toddlers and preschool children and serves as an early childhood laboratory site for aspiring teachers of young children.
