Spring Service Projects with Civic Engagement and Service

Student Life’s office of Civic Engagement and Service is offering service experiences around our community this spring! These service projects are a great way to experience different volunteer settings and meet students who share an interest in serving our community. Transportation to off-campus sites is provided.

Bread of the Mighty Food Bank

Friday, January 26, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Bread of the Mighty Food Bank’s mission is to provide food, hope and encouragement to help nourish the hungry and food insecure in our community. Volunteers will help facilitate a rural food distribution in Bronson, located in Levy County.

Repurpose Project

Friday, February 9, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

The Repurpose Project is a non-profit community based effort to divert useful resources from the landfill, redirect these items to the public for art and education, inspire creativity, and help us all rethink what we throw away. Volunteer will assist with processing and organizing donations.

Rebuilding Together of North Central Florida

Friday, February 23, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
