SF Learning Commons Hosts Two Special Student Workshops

January 8, 2024 – Santa Fe College’s (SF) Learning Commons is hosting two important workshops including one that helps students make sense of their course syllabi.

Empower yourself with essential skills for decoding your course syllabus with “Navigating Your Syllabus: A Student’s Guide.” You can also register for “Study Smarter, Not Harder,” a 50-minute presentation providing practical research-based strategies to enhance learning.

Choose the ones that fit your schedule from the following list:

  • Tuesday, Jan. 16, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.: Navigating Your Syllabus: A Student’s Guide
  • Friday, Jan. 19, noon – 1:00 p.m.: Navigating Your Syllabus: A Student’s Guide
  • Sunday, Jan. 21, 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Study Smarter, Not Harder
  • Monday, Jan. 22, 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.: Navigating Your Syllabus: A Student’s Guide
  • Wednesday, Jan. 24, 11:00 a.m. – noon: Study Smarter, Not Harder

About the Learning Commons

The Learning Commons provides multiple services geared toward enhancing the quality of student learning experiences. Students can seek tutoring in specific areas or academic success coaching. Services are free for SF students.
