January 11, 2024 – Santa Fe College offers Mental Health First Aid training on Friday, Jan. 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Building S, Rooms 29/30. Lunch will be provided.
This training helps participants understand how to help students, visitors or staff members who may be experiencing a mental health-related crisis or problem. Topics covered include:
- Addictions
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Psychosis
As we focus on continuous improvement, service excellence and campus safety, this course helps to equip staff with the tools needed to safely intervene and make appropriate referrals.
