February 5, 2024 – The Saints met the Indian River State College Pioneers in Fort Pierce on Saturday. Their momentum stalled, the Saints needed the win. The Pioneers were a perfect 10-0 at home.
The Saints occasionally stunned the home team with a dizzying offense. The Pioneers fought back with their own, winning the contest 108-83.
“Indian River is a very good team,” Saints Head Coach Chris Mowry said. “Their size created problems for us inside and they shot the 3 pointer really well. We were good enough on offense when we didn’t turn it over, but defensively we have a long way to go.”
The Saints will face #4-ranked Daytona State College on Feb. 10 in Daytona Beach.
