February 5, 2024 – Coming off a loss to Miami Dade College, the Saints went on the road looking to reclaim their momentum. They faced the Indian River State College Pioneers on Saturday.
The Saints took the lead early, only slipping in the second quarter. That wasn’t enough to stop the Saints, eventually winning 76-58.
“The young ladies bought in completely on the defensive side of the floor for 40 minutes,” Saints Head Coach Russ Jackson said. “’m hoping that this game will be the proof that we need that if we lock in we can see the desired outcomes that we’re seeking.”
The Saints continue their road trip, facing Daytona State College on Feb. 10.
