February 8, 2024 – Wednesday, the Saints faced the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Stallions at home. The Saints turned what could have been a monumental loss into a testament to their abilities and fortitude.

The Stallions galloped away with the lead in the first inning, scoring four runs. They added another in the fourth. With victory slipping from their clutches, the Saints rallied in the fifth inning, pulling within one run of the visiting team. They tied the game in the bottom of the ninth. The Saints crossed the finish line in the next inning, winning with a walk-off 6-5.

“Proud of the guys for battling and completing the comeback win,” Saints Head Coach Johnny Wiggs said. “We just need to keep playing good baseball and gain confidence as we enter conference play.”

The Saints will visit South Florida State College on Feb. 10 for a doubleheader.
