February 23, 2024 – The Saints met the Daytona State College Falcons yesterday in a contest that was decided with a ninth-inning grand slam by the Falcons.
Of the 13-9 loss, Saints Head Coach Johnny Wiggs said, “It was a typical dogfight type of game going back and forth. Our hitters did a great job in the ninth inning scoring five runs and giving us the lead. We will work hard to bounce back on Saturday to try and win the series.”
The Saints will play in a doubleheader at home on Saturday, Feb. 24 against the Falcons to finish the series. The first pitch is set for noon.
