Saints Clip Eagles’ Wings

Saturday afternoon saw the #14 ranked Santa Fe Saints traveling to Winter Haven for an exciting doubleheader against the Polk State College Eagles. However, it wasn’t exciting for the Eagles. The Saints won by run rule in both games, 11-1 and 9-0.

Saints Tackle Titans

On Sunday afternoon, the Saints took on the Eastern Florida State College Titans in a doubleheader at home. Earlier in the season, the Saints had faced the Titans, losing one game and winning the other.

The Saints shut out the Titans in the first game, winning 8-0. The Titans tried to come back in the second game, blitzing the Saints with a four-run fifth inning. The Saints held on for the 7-4 victory.
