June 5, 2024 – Workday, SF’s new Finance and Human Resources system, is scheduled to go live July 15. Some modifications to normal business operations are required to facilitate a successful conversion.
Important Conversion Dates
- Requests to Post will continue in the current system until June 30. No new Requests to Post can be processed between July 1 and 14.
- The next start date for FT and PT appointments is July 16 (except for College for Kids instructors and adjunct faculty who are teaching this summer). Emergency requests will go through a review process at the ELT level.
- Purchasing transactions are currently closed for year end and will resume with the July 15 live date.
Training to Come
Training on Workday for college employees is in the process of being finalized, possibly beginning the week of June 17 and continuing into July. A training calendar will be distributed soon.
