Advising Council Meeting Today; Agenda Included

The next Advising Council meeting is Tuesday, June 26 ,  8:15 – 11 a.m. in S 29/30. The agenda is included below. We would like to make special mention that Dr. Sasser will be speaking with us and giving the Welcome for the meeting.

As a follow-up to the QEP initiative, we will have a panel of students and advisors. The goal is for us to initiate a dialog between students and advisors, find out what we are doing well, and to discuss the insight we gained from the students and what we can do to improve our advising techniques and incorporate relevant suggestions into the QEP plan. We hope you will be able to attend all or part of the meeting.

Please note that we will have a special table set aside to highlight the advising tools used by various departments. We hope that you can bring something from your department to share, minimizing duplication of efforts and maximizing the helpful return on these tools that have already been developed. Don’t forget to identify your department on the form so that if more are needed, the source is clear for students and departments. We would appreciate anything your area can add to this effort.

Sincerely,
AC Planning Team
