On Friday afternoon, visting professor from Beijing, China, Mr. Wang Shuguo and his wife, Lijin, toured the Digital Media Technology (DMT) department and the Media Studio at Santa Fe College, and then had lunch at Emiliano’s Cafe in Downtown Gainesville with SF Media Studio Director Steve Yongue, DMT Professor Rhonda Peyton, DMT Coordinator Eric Flagg, ITE Director Jorge Ibanez and DMT Professor Wes Lindberg.
Mr. Wang Shuguo will give a lecture today, on “Films and the Construction of Chineseness” at 3:30 p.m. in S-29/30. He will also be honored, along with Fulbright Scholar Dr. Regiani Zacarias, at the International Education reception Wednesday, Nov. 7.
