SF WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Gainesville, FL – The FCSAA #7 Santa Fe Saints open Mid-Florida Conference play on Saturday, January 5 at Florida State College – Jacksonville at 4:00 PM and fans can watch live via streaming video at www.psblive.com with play by play announcer Cory Stephens. The game is the first of three contests between the two teams this season.
The Saints enter the contest with a 12-6 record and the Stars sit at 11-6. FSC-J took two of three meetings last season.
Santa Fe sophomore forward Paulina Zaveckaite leads the state and the nation in rebounding with 15.3 boards per game. Tiara Thompson leads SF in scoring and is 25th in the nation with 17.2 points per game.
