December 12, 2023 – The Santa Fe Saints Women’s basketball team faced the Eastern Florida State College Titans in a conference battle yesterday. The Saints sought to turn their recent misfortunes around. Number one in the conference, the Titans had other plans.
The Saints fought to keep up with the Titans’ onslaught. Despite a few hopeful moments, the Saints fell 97-52.
“We struggled with handling adversity today,” Saints Head Coach Russ Jackson said. “We will work to minimize mistakes that we made and work on getting better as a team.”
The Saints return home Wednesday, Dec. 13 to host the Daytona State College Falcons. Game time is 5 p.m.
