January 29, 2024 – Having won their last two games, the Santa Fe Saints headed south Saturday to continue their streak against the St. Petersburg Titans. The Saints beat the Titans in their previous match. Would history repeat?
The Titans led the first two periods. The Saints fought back the rest of the game, closing in on another victory. However, the push was not enough. The Titans won 79-70.
“We have no time to hang our heads,” Saints Head Coach Russ Jackson said, “because we must prepare for our next conference opponent which is Miami Dade who we play on Tuesday and Wednesday.”
The Saints will face Miami Dade State College on Jan. 31 at 6 p.m. to finish their game that was suspended due to floor conditions. On Feb. 1, both teams will meet again. The games will take place at the SF Gym.
