SF Baseball: Saints Win Series Over Titans

March 18, 2024 – On Saturday, the Santa Fe Saints faced off against the Eastern Florida State College Titans to conclude a thrilling three-game series. The Saints claimed victory in game one last Thursday with an impressive final score of 8-6.

Saturday’s doubleheader began with a defensive showcase from both teams. The Titans put their first and only run of the game on the board in the second inning. The Saints failed to capitalize, but the damage wasn’t too severe. The Titans shut out the Saints to win 1-0.

The Saints went into the finale motivated like never before, scoring six runs in the first inning. The Titans threatened the Saint’s lead, but a four-run onslaught in the fourth inning all but solidified Santa Fe College’s victory. The Saints won 16-6.

The 17-13 Saints host the College of Central Florida Patriots on Thursday, March 21. The first pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
